Saturday 30th March: Diva Spectacula, Thainstone Exchange, 7pm. Tickets will be available from December 3rd
What’s new for Term 2?!
Sunday 18th November: Music Showcase, Bon Accord Centre Aberdeen, 2-4pm. Performances confirmed from: Ruaridh Williams, Michael Janetta saxophone quartet, CMYT, Fiona Jamieson violin group, Siobhan Monaghan chanter group. To promote our up and coming ‘Diva Spectacular Show’ at Thainstone Exchange on March 30th next year we will also have performances by: Dolly Parton (Arlene Johnston), Shania Twain (Millie Chapman), and Tina Turner (Megan McCann)
Saturday 24th November: Chalmers Mackay Variety Concert, Acorn Centre. This is a fundraiser for the upcoming CMYT show!
Sunday 25th November: Inverurie Light Switch On, Inverurie Town Square, 3pm- 6pm. Our very own rock band Jinxed will be playing followed by The Limit. Fireworks to follow! This is an open air event.
Saturday 1st December: Christmas sINg for BID Inverurie, Inverurie Town Square, 11am- 12.30pm. Chalmers Mackay Tutors have been liasing with local schools to present a Christmas sINg! This is an open air event.
Sunday 16th December: Chalmers Mackay Junior Christmas Concerts, Hatton of Fintray Hall. This concert is for performers of 12 years and under. There will be four concerts on this day: 11am, 2pm and 5pm
What will be done in Term 1?!
Peedie Breeks Music Club! Chalmers Mackay will be running music classes on Monday and Tuesday mornings for pre-school children!
Classes listed below.
Monday: 10 – 10.20am: 6 months to 1 year old
10.30- 10.50am: 1 year to 1 1/2 year old
11- 11.20am: 1 1/2 year to 2 1/2 year old
12.40- 1pm: 2 1/2 year to 3 1/2 year old
Tuesday: 11.10- 11.30am: 6 months to 1 year old
11.40- 12pm: 1 year to 1 1/2 year old
12.40- 1pm: 1 1/2 year to 2 1/2 year old
2- 2.20pm: 2 1/2 year to 3 1/2 year oldSessions cost £5 and are booked in blocks of 4. The children can be accompanied by a parent and the parent can integrate into the activities with their child.
Music and movement/ introduction to instruments/ music and relaxation/ singing games/ exploring sounds/ music and colours (drawing activity while listening)/ storytelling through music.
Children should come suitable dressed in loose clothing and remove shoes for the class.
To book in for a session please call the office between 9am-5pm Monday to Wednesday, or 9am-1pm Thursday and Friday.
