Tuition

At Chalmers Mackay, we offer an assessment lesson initially. A package of 8 lessons then follows as a trial run to let the pupil give their choice of instrument or voice a chance to progress over an adequate period of time.

After this trial, the pupil and tutor can assess how it has gone and will then have the opportunity to enrol into the School or decide to stop. Pupils can choose the type of course they want to follow for example a classical based, pop based, jazz based format or even a mix of any of these. Lessons can be for fun and relaxing or alternatively if pupils wish to go down a more formal route of tuition we can prepare you for examinations. For exams we use the following accredited boards, Trinity College London, ABRSM, London College, Scottish Trad and Royal Conservatoire.
